April Wisler LCMHC
As a primary therapist at GateHouse Treatment of New Hampshire, April Wisler is a part of our clinical team, providing vital services to our clients using a variety of therapeutic modalities. She is an integral part of her client’s treatment program while they are at GateHouse Treatment. April offers one-on-one sessions with clients to process through feelings that arise in sobriety, develop coping mechanisms, and address past trauma. April also facilitates group therapy sessions, where clients are able to discuss topics like relapse prevention, daily stressors, amends, addictive behaviors, and family relationships. April is always available to talk to her clients and help them cope with difficult situations, and aides them progress through their individualized treatment plan to work towards long-term recovery.
April Wisler is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the state of New Hampshire, where she has resided throughout her life. April studied psychology at Saint Anselm College and received her Bachelor of Art’s degree in 2010, at which time she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the institution. Passionate about the helping profession, April went on to receive her master’s degree with high distinction in mental health counseling from Rivier University in 2014. Having worked for several community mental health centers throughout the state of New Hampshire prior to coming to GateHouse, April discovered her passion for helping those battling addiction and decided to steer her career in this direction. April loves the work she does in helping people suffering from substance abuse disorder find a new way of life.
